As an adult, I long for the days where I have nothing on my calendar, where a weekend is a stark difference from the majority of the week. I could fill the hours with daydreaming, swinging on a porch swing, painting by candlelight, card-making, trying to eat as many cherries as my body will let me, getting lost in my stacks of unread books, re-reading old collections, flipping through photos, watching tv, getting stomach aches from eating too much ice cream, or whatever pleases me. For 2016, I have one goal in mind: to clear room in my calendar for me (and watching tv with Jordan).
