Everyone seems to think that food people eat how they cook all the time. What’s a reality is un-heated, un-smooth puree of butternut squash and old curry “soup” I have eaten the past three nights because everything had already been repurposed into its final possible form and I don’t waste food. Or perhaps even more real is the slightly warmed gravy, just enough so it isn’t rock solid, I just poured over the raw spinach I decided could work as a salad dressing.
Sometimes I eat for the body’s necessity to burn calories and nutrients. It helps me cherish the other meals so much more.
This is my current form of soylent. Last month was raw almonds.
(Note: I have had soylent on a couple of occasions and I think it tastes on par with cold soup or gravy salad.)
